ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel.

Overnight: Nairobi Serena Hotel (Bed & Breakfast)

Day 2: Nairobi Sightseeing

Visit the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, Giraffe Center, and Karen Blixen Museum for a rich blend of conservation and culture.

Day 3: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

Drive south to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive with Kilimanjaro in the distance.

Day 4: Full Day in Amboseli

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives. Amboseli is known for its large elephants, swampy marshes, and epic mountain backdrops.

Day 5: Amboseli – Aberdare (The Ark Lodge)

After lunch in Nairobi, continue to The Ark Tree Lodge in the Aberdare Forest. Spend the night watching wildlife at a floodlit waterhole.

Day 6: Aberdare – Samburu National Reserve

Drive north along the slopes of Mount Kenya to Samburu National Reserve. This striking region is home to rare species like Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, and the gerenuk.

Day 7: Samburu & Buffalo Springs

Explore the unique landscapes and wildlife along the Ewaso Nyiro River and Buffalo Springs. Watch crocodiles feed and elephants cool off by the river.

Day 8: Samburu – Sweetwaters (Ol Pejeta Conservancy)

Drive south to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, home to the last northern white rhinos, endangered black rhinos, and a chimpanzee sanctuary. Watch animals from your tented room, set beside a waterhole.

Day 9: Ol Pejeta – Lake Nakuru – Lake Elementaita

Travel around the Aberdare Mountains to Lake Nakuru National Park for lunch and wildlife viewing. Then continue to your lodge overlooking Lake Elementaita.

Dinner & Overnight: Elementaita Serena Camp (Full Board)

Day 10: Lake Elementaita – Masai Mara Game Reserve

Drive to the world-famous Masai Mara, part of the Serengeti ecosystem. Enjoy lunch at your lodge, followed by your first game drive.

Day 11: Full Day in the Mara

Spend the day exploring rolling savannahs, teeming with wildlife. Expect to see elephants, lions, cheetahs, rhinos, wildebeests, and more.

Day 12: More Game Drives in the Mara

Continue game drives along the Mara River—keep your camera ready for hippos, crocodiles, and possibly river crossings. Optional visit to a local Maasai village.

Day 13: Return to Nairobi + Farewell Dinner

Leisurely drive back to Nairobi. Spend the afternoon resting or shopping before heading to Carnivore Restaurant for a farewell dinner.

Day 14: Departure Day

Depending on your flight time, you’ll be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your journey home.
