ITINERARY
Day 1: Welcome to Kenya
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi for a restful evening.
Overnight: Nairobi Safari Club (Bed and Breakfast)
Day 2: Nairobi to Tsavo West National Park
Begin your safari heading east toward Tsavo West, Kenya’s largest national park. Enter through Mtito Andei Gate, then continue to Kilanguni Lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, visit Mzima Springs, where crystal-clear waters offer a unique view of hippos, crocodiles, and barber fish through an underground viewing chamber.

Day 3: Tsavo to Amboseli National Park
Start the day with an early morning game drive in Tsavo. After breakfast, travel westward to Amboseli National Park, nestled at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 4: Full Day in Amboseli
Enjoy a full day of game viewing beneath Africa’s tallest mountain. Amboseli is renowned for its large elephant herds, wide-open plains, and dramatic views of Kilimanjaro.

Day 5: Amboseli – Nairobi – Aberdare Region
Return to Nairobi for lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant, then head into the Aberdare Mountains for a night at Mountain Lodge. Spend the evening watching wildlife gather at the floodlit waterhole right from the lodge. Guests can request to be alerted during the night for special sightings.

Day 6: Mountain Lodge to Samburu
After breakfast, continue north, skirting Mount Kenya and crossing into the Samburu National Reserve. This dramatic volcanic region features rare species such as Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, and the gerenuk.

Day 7: Full Day in Samburu and Shaba Reserves
Spend the day game viewing in Samburu, Buffalo Springs, and Shaba along the lush Ewaso Nyiro River. This region offers excellent chances to spot both predators and unique northern wildlife.

Day 8: Samburu to Mt. Kenya Safari Club
Depart for the luxurious Mt. Kenya Safari Club, one of the "Leading Hotels of the World." Originally founded by actor William Holden, the club offers a blend of colonial elegance and sweeping mountain views. The Equator runs through the property, offering guests a unique photo opportunity.

Day 9: Mt. Kenya to Lake Nakuru National Park
Travel west around the Aberdare Range to reach Lake Nakuru, located in the Great Rift Valley. Stop for lunch at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive. Look for flamingos, pelicans, rhinos, and—if lucky—leopards lounging in the acacia trees.

Day 10: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara Game Reserve
Continue to the legendary Masai Mara, an extension of Tanzania’s Serengeti and home to one of the greatest wildlife spectacles on Earth. After lunch at your lodge, embark on your first afternoon game drive in this spectacular reserve.

Day 11: Full Day in the Masai Mara
Enjoy a full day of game drives and a picnic lunch amidst the open savannah. The Mara is rich in wildlife, especially during the Great Migration, with opportunities to see lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, and thousands of wildebeests and zebras.

Day 12: Another Day in the Mara
Spend another day discovering the beauty of the Masai Mara. The landscape of fever trees, open plains, and riverine forests is classic East Africa. Along the Mara River, you may spot hippos, crocodiles, and other riverine wildlife.

Day 13: Return to Nairobi
After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi. The afternoon is yours to enjoy: relax at the hotel, go shopping, or choose from optional city tours.

Day 14: Departure Day
Enjoy a day room at the hotel to rest and freshen up before your flight. You’ll be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure home.
