ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi – Welcome to Kenya!
You’ll be met on arrival by your personal safari guide and transferred to your hotel for rest and recovery.
Overnight: Safari Park Hotel (Bed and Breakfast)
Day 2: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
Travel north to Samburu National Reserve, a semi-arid savannah known for its rugged beauty. Arrive at Samburu Simba Lodge, set along the Ewaso Nyiro River. Your private tent includes a veranda overlooking the river—perfect for spotting crocodiles and observing river life.
Overnight: Samburu Simba Lodge (Full Board)
Day 3: Full Day in Samburu
Enjoy early morning, mid-morning, and afternoon game drives. Rare species you may encounter include Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, and the graceful gerenuk. During the day, relax by the swimming pool or join a bird-watching walk with a qualified ornithologist.

Day 4: Samburu – Lake Nakuru National Park
Drive southwest across the slopes of the Aberdare Mountains into the Great Rift Valley to reach Lake Nakuru National Park—home to elegant flamingos and over 450 species of birds. Game viewing in the afternoon may include sightings of rhinos, lions, leopards, and hyenas.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara Game Reserve
Your safari kicks into high gear as you head to the legendary Masai Mara, the northern extension of the Serengeti ecosystem. Arrive in time for lunch and an optional late afternoon game drive.

Day 6: Shabbat at the Lodge
Spend a relaxing day at the lodge, enjoying the serene surroundings and lodge amenities in observance of Shabbat.

Day 7: Full Day in the Mara
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in one of the world’s most renowned wildlife reserves. Keep an eye out for elephants, lions, zebras, cheetahs, and many other iconic species.

Day 8: Wildlife & Optional Experiences in the Mara
Another full day of thrilling game viewing. During the migration season, witness thousands of wildebeest and zebra crossing the plains, followed by predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Optional experiences include lectures about the local ecosystem or a balloon safari—a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
Overnight: Mara Sarova Lodge (Full Board)
Day 9: Masai Mara – Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, drive to the scenic Lake Naivasha, located at 1,880 meters above sea level. Explore the Hell’s Gate region, known for dramatic gorges and a remarkable bird population. Watch for pelicans, herons, kingfishers, and the impressive African fish eagle.
Overnight: Naivasha Simba Lodge (Full Board)
Day 10: Lake Naivasha – Nairobi
Enjoy a relaxed morning and then travel back to Nairobi. Optional sightseeing or shopping can be arranged before returning to your hotel.
Overnight: Safari Park Hotel (Bed and Breakfast)
Day 11: Departure Day
After breakfast, transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight. Your guide will ensure you arrive with plenty of time before departure.
